A Message from the Wyoming State Board of Nursing: We are excited to share our launch date for our new licensing management system - ORBS (Optimal Regulatory Board System). The expected launch date is January 28, 2019. ORBS is a confidential and secure, cloud-based system for digital processes, which provides modules for licensing, discipline and education program management. It will reducing operational processes and has seamless integration with systems like, Nursys and NCLEX Administration. It will allow for improved data integrity and enhanced channels of communication between staff and licensees through automatic notifications and electronic reminders.

Applicants and Licensees will be required to create a profile from which they can manage their initial and renewal applications; submit requests to Board Staff; receive alerts/reminders from Board Staff; and, check their licensure status. Applicants and nurses will manage their initial and renewal applications totally online (after January 28, 2019), submit requests electronically, view their license status and see alerts/reminders. All candidates will be required to create their profile before submitting applications. Paper applications will no longer be accepted after January 11th, 2019 and credit/debit card payment will be the only form of payment accepted through the ORBS System.
